  • Public Meeting for draft MRRMP-EIS scheduled in Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo. Feb. 15-16

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City and Omaha Districts, will hold public meetings on the draft Missouri River Recovery Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement (MRRMP-EIS) on in Kansas City, Mo., Wednesday, Feb. 15, and in St. Louis, Mo., Thursday, Feb. 16, from 5-8:45 p.m.
  • Public Meeting for draft MRRMP-EIS scheduled in Omaha, NE, Feb. 14

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City and Omaha Districts, will hold a public meeting on the draft Missouri River Recovery Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Thompson Alumni Center, 6705 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE 68182, from 5-8:45 p.m. Parking is available in Lot X near the center; passes are required in adjacent lots.
  • Tribal Members of MRRIC Continue Review of Draft EIS, Recommend Extended Review

    MRRIC met in Kansas City, Mo., Jan. 31-Feb. 2 to discuss the Missouri River Recovery Program’s (MRRP) draft Missouri River Recovery Management Plan-Environmental Impact Statement that was released in December by the Corps. An accompanying Adaptive Management (AM) Plan serves as the framework for implementing action described in the EIS. Seven Tribes from the Missouri River Basin were represented.
  • Missouri River Recovery Implementation Committee Reviews Draft EIS, Recommends Extended Review

    MRRIC met in Kansas City, Mo., Jan. 31-Feb. 2 to discuss the MRRP draft Missouri River Recovery Management Plan-Environmental Impact Statement that was released in December by the Corps. An accompanying Adaptive Management Plan serves as the framework for implementing action described in the EIS.
  • Updated snowpack and reservoir conditions for week of Jan. 31 now available

    Each Tuesday, the Missouri River Water Management Division will provide weekly updates on plains and mountain snowpack and mainstem reservoir conditions. “We are committed to providing everyone the most up-to-date information regarding snowpack and reservoir conditions,” said Jody Farhat, Chief of the Corps’ Missouri River Basin Water Management Division.
