    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites recreational boaters to prepare their boats for summer by hosting free vessel safety inspections at Columbia Hills State Park from 7 a.m. to noon April 27.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has begun implementing its 2013 Fish Operations Plan to provide spill at the four lower Snake River and four lower Columbia River dams to facilitate the passage of juvenile salmon and steelhead to the ocean.
  • Upgrades in progress at Stockton Power Plant

    Upgrades for major equipment rehabilitation at the Stockton Power Plant have caused a scheduled plant outage since Feb. 12, 2013. The plant is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Corps regional commander tapped for Brigadier General

    Col. Anthony C. Funkhouser, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Northwestern Division was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in the U.S. Army in a formal ceremony Feb. 1 in Washington D.C. The Army’s Chief of Engineers, Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Bostick, hosted the event.
