  • Fort Peck Dam resuming normal operations following flow test

    Test flows from Fort Peck Dam, will be ending earlier than expected.  The 2024 flow test from Fort Peck Dam was the first in a series of test flows intended to comply with the 2018 Biological Opinion.
  • Second peak of Fort Peck flow test resuming

    Releases from Fort Peck will begin stepping up as part of the second peak of the Fort Peck flow test starting today. Releases from Fort Peck will be gradually increased, starting today, June 17, to reach a peak flow of 20,000 cubic feet per second on Sunday, June 23.
  • Next phase of Fort Peck flow test delayed

    The second peak from Fort Peck Dam was initially scheduled to begin tomorrow, June 13 but will be delayed until at least June 17.
  • Public Meeting for draft MRRMP-EIS scheduled in Omaha, NE, Feb. 14

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City and Omaha Districts, will hold a public meeting on the draft Missouri River Recovery Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Thompson Alumni Center, 6705 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE 68182, from 5-8:45 p.m. Parking is available in Lot X near the center; passes are required in adjacent lots.

  • Corps seeks stakeholder involvement in Missouri River committee

    Applications for stakeholders interested in Missouri River recovery activities are being requested by the Commander of the Northwestern Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to fill vacant stakeholder member positions on the Missouri River Recovery Implementation Committee (MRRIC). MRRIC is a collaborative forum for Missouri River Basin stakeholders, states and Tribes to come together and develop a shared vision and comprehensive plan for Missouri River recovery.
