Omaha, Neb -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a public meeting in Poplar, Montana, Dec. 13 to share information about USACE’s operation of the Missouri River Mainstem Reservoir System.
Public meetings are held each spring and fall across the Missouri River Basin and provide an update on current year's runoff and reservoir operations, as well as planned operations for the next year's runoff season.
The meeting in Poplar, Montana, is a make-up meeting being rescheduled for the meeting cancelled Nov. 7, due to inclement weather. In this meeting USACE will discuss the draft 2023 - 2024 Annual Operating Plan and the possibility of a Fort Peck Flow Test.
A second meeting will be held in Williston, North Dakota. This meeting was added at the request of the State of North Dakota to discuss the Fort Peck Flow Test and address local, Williston area questions.
