OMAHA, Neb. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Missouri River Basin Water Management Division has rescheduled the spring public meeting in Pierre, South Dakota for Monday, April 15.
The rescheduled meeting will take place as follows:
- Monday, April 15
- Start time: 10 a.m. (CDT)
- Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center
- Amphitheater Room II
- 920 W Sioux Avenue
- Pierre, SD 57501
The original meeting was canceled due to blizzard conditions that prevented the Corps officials from landing at the local airport.
“We value the importance of these public meetings and know the residents of Pierre and Fort Pierre have questions about planned operations at Oahe. We want to provide them information first-hand,” said John Remus, chief of the Missouri Basin Water Management Division.
