Chamberlain ran Grandma's Marathon with a goal to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Grandma's Marathon starts near Two Harbors, Minn. and runs along the scenic north shore of Lake Superior where the S.S. William A. Irvin, once a flagship of the U.S. Steel Great Lakes Fleet, is docked on the waterfront.
